Looking After Hearing Aids

Keep hearing aids away from heat, moisture and hair care products. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning the device. Turn the aid off when it is not being used and replace the batteries as soon as they become exhausted. Keep your hearing aid in a safe place when it is not being used, especially if you have small children or pets. Practise adjusting the controls, replacing the batteries and taking the aid on and off your ear.
